Job Summary<\/strong>
Toronto CCM Centre is seeking a warm, relational, and energetic Youth Ministry Worker
with a social work or youth-related background. The ideal candidate is someone who
naturally connects with young people, builds trust, and supports their emotional, social,
and spiritual growth.
This role focuses on relationship-building, youth engagement, program support, and
contributing to the development of the new Young Adult Project, which aims to strengthen
the transition from high school into young adulthood through mentorship, life-navigation
support, and community belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roles and responsibilities<\/strong>
Duties will include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Build meaningful, trust-filled relationships with youth that nurture growth, confidence, and belonging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Create welcoming, engaging youth environments where young people feel safe, supported, and valued.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Support youth programs, small groups, and events that inspire spiritual, emotional, and social development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Contribute to the launch and growth of the Young Adult Project, helping older teens transition confidently into adulthood.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Partner with families and volunteers to build a holistic support network for youth and young adults.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Assist with communications, logistics, and administration to keep ministry life-running smoothly and joyfully.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements\/Skills\/Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Experience working with youth in community agencies, schools, camps, or church ministries (asset).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. A heart for youth, with strong interpersonal skills, emotional maturity, and the ability to build rapport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently and in a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred; Cantonese is an asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Commitment to CCM\u2019s mission and values, and alignment with its Christian faith foundation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Valid driver\u2019s license is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
