The ideal candidate will embody a shepherd\u2019s heart, a teacher\u2019s clarity, and a leader\u2019s vision \u2014 equipping the church through biblical teaching, discipleship, and outreach in a multicultural, multigenerational context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Education Requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Master of Divinity (M. Div.) or its equivalent in theological education from an Association of Theological Schools (ATS) accredited institution. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 years or more of pastoral experience <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible to work in Canada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A strong commitment to the authority of Scripture and sound theology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid experience in preaching, teaching, and pastoral leadership. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spiritually mature with a vibrant and deep walk with God. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and an effective communicator. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A team player who leads with humility and courage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role and Responsibilities<\/strong><br>Your primary focus will be to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preach and Teach: Deliver biblically rich and relevant sermons that inspire spiritual growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discipleship: Foster Christlike maturity among congregants through structured growth pathways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leadership Development: Equip and empower ministry leaders to serve effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pastoral Care: Offer spiritual support, counseling, and visitation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evangelism &amp; Outreach: Lead the church in engaging the wider community with the Gospel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team Collaboration: Serve alongside a closely knitted pastoral team in a spirit of unity and humility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resume Submission details<\/strong><br>Please send your resume, cover letter and an optional video sermon sample to our Pastoral Search Committee at <a href=\"mailto:adrian.tang@yorklbc.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adrian.tang@yorklbc.org<\/a>.<br>Logos Baptist Church (York Region) welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
