[Employment] Metro Chinese Christian Mission – Chinese part time pastor

Metro Chinese Christian Mission is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of Canada (EFCC). The Church is calling a part-time pastor to minister a Chinese congregation. All interested applicants are encouraged to submit their inquiries and applications to application@mccm.ca

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1. This position is accountable to the Church Board and members of the Church.
2. Prepare and deliver biblical sermons (mainly in Cantonese).
3. Provide spiritual counseling and pastoral care to the congregation.
4. Plan and execute effective programs of prayers, evangelism, Christian education and discipleship.

Qualifications

• Master level degree from an accredited theological seminary.
• At least 5 years as a deacon or pastor in ministry, including preaching and discipleship training in an evangelical church.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Strong leadership, communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills.

• 獲得被認可的神學院碩士學位。
• 在福音派教會擔任執事或教牧事工5年或以上，包括中文講道和門徒訓練。
• 流利中英文口說和書寫能力。
• 具備領導、溝通、監督和人際關係能力。
