Metro Chinese Christian Mission (the “Church”) is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of Canada (EFCC). The Church is calling a full time pastor to minister a Chinese congregation. All interested applicants are encouraged to submit their inquiries and applications to application@mccm.ca
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- This position is accountable to the Church Board and members of the Church.
- Prepare and deliver biblical sermons (mainly in Cantonese).
- Plan and conduct Sunday worship, Easter, Christmas, and other applicable services.
- Provide spiritual counseling and pastoral care to the congregation.
- Lead in prayer and guide the overall spiritual formation of the Congregation.
- Lead in effective programs of prayer, discipleship, evangelism, mission and care for persons in the Church and in the community.
- Provide on-going spiritual training for leaders and to nurture and raise potential leaders.
Qualifications
- Master level degree from an accredited theological seminary.
- At least 5 years as a deacon or pastor in ministry, including preaching and discipleship training in an evangelical church.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Strong leadership, communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills.

- 有效的帶領事工:禱告會、門徒訓練、傳福音、宣教和關懷教會和社區人員的計畫。
- 為領導者提供持續的屬靈培訓，培養並提升有潛質的領導者。
學歷和事奉經驗:
- 獲得被認可的神學院碩士學位。
- 在福音派教會擔任執事或教牧事工5年或以上，包括中文講道和門徒訓練。
- 流利中英文口說和書寫能力。
- 具備領導、溝通、監督和人際關係能力。
