Needed immediately: Lead Pastor for Cantonese congregation
Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York, located at 201 Tempo Ave, North York, Ontario, Canada, is a growing cell-based church with many congregations using three languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. We have a membership of about 550. We are presently seeking a full-time lead pastor to lead the Cantonese congregation with 230 worshippers.
Qualifications
- Prefer 5 years of North American ministry experience;
- Graduate of an evangelical bible college or seminary;
- Fluent in Cantonese and English;
- Agree with AGC Statement of Faith;
- Agree with vision of cell church;
- Emphasis on discipleship training.
Job description
Under the supervision of the Senior Pastor to:
- Give pastoral leadership to the congregation to fulfill the church vision;
- Chair the Ministry Committee;
- Oversee the worship services including preaching;
- Oversee the cell ministry including the cells and Discipleship & Equipping and fellowship groups (if such exist);
- Disciple cell leaders;
- Oversee the administrative work of the ministry;
- Lead and mentor any staff or intern working under the lead pastor;
- Promote participation and recruit people to serve in church wide ministries and functions.

北約恩典福音堂位於安省北約克201 Tempo Ave，是一間以細胞小組模式不斷增長的教會。教會現有粵語、國語和英語三個堂會，全教會約有550名會眾。現聘全職粵語堂堂主任，牧養及帶領粵語堂，會衆人數約230人。
資歴
- 具5年北美牧會經驗為佳；
- 在福音派聖經學院或神學院畢業；
- 操流利粵語和英語；
- 信仰須乎合福音聯會(AGC)之規定；
- 贊同細胞小組教會的異像；
- 重視門徒訓練。
工作範圍
在教會主任牧師的督導下：
- 牧養及領導粵語堂會眾實踐教會的異象；
- 主持粵語事工委員會；
- 督導崇拜事工，包括講道；
- 督導細胞小組，主日學，及團契等各部事工；
- 牧養細胞小組領袖；
- 督導粵語堂各部門的行政工作；
- 帶領和牧養在其下的同工或實習傳道；
- 促進並招募信徒參與全教會性的各部門事工和活動。
